Emily’s is certainly a favorite watering hole for all who visit the Garden Route and is run by chef Extraordinaire Larry and his warm and welcoming team members. He provides an eclectic daily changing menu of whatever is freshly available on the day, he makes simple food look and taste good.
On stepping through the doors of Emily’s restaurant you are assailed by a feast of treasures collected by owner Mark Valentine on his many trips to the far flung corners of the globe, every nook and cranny reveals more beautiful collector’s items that beckons one into a magical world of Kelims, Persians, Nguni skins a Nigerian ‘stargazer’ seat under the trees hosting delicate Indian orchids, a camel saddle, large wooden chainsaw fishes perched high on a wall, a couple of carved quirky crocodiles lazing beside the pool, carved wooden Zanzibar doors, mermaids, Samburu spears, horns, sculptures, and animal heads placed high against the back drop of the African sky are just a few of the beautiful pieces that create this romantic venue each with a tale to tell. The most important day of your life - your wedding. Emily's is the ideal venue and caters for up to 75 guests. We also have the facility of the lodges for out of town guests and the bridal party. We will do everything required to make that special day one to be remembered!

There are eight beautiful suites each given its own identity and individuality following an Afro chic theme, each has its own seating area with a fireplace, television, a completely private deck and spacious bathroom. Nothing has been spared to make this a very special experience. Each lodge sleeps two people on a bed and breakfast basis.
